1.1    Can I purchase my tickets on line by the Internet?

Yes. You can purchase tickets on the Internet joining the Amaszonas Web page, at the ON LINE SHOPPING link.

To shop on our website, you will need a MASTER CARD or VISA credit card.

If using a virtual credit card, you will need a written authorization from your Bank and your ID at the airport.  If using a corporative card, you will also need a letter from your company.

1.2    Is internet shopping safe on your site?

Yes, we do have a reservation system, security policies, SSL Certificates worlwide recognized, and the obligatory nature for the passenger to sign the purchase voucher presenting his/her card and ID before boarding.

1.3    Do I get any additional benefits when I shop through the Internet?

Only when you shop on our web - www.amaszonas.com – ON LINE SHOPPING, you will benefit from all our special promotions and raffles.

1.4    Can I only do reservations on the Internet?

On our web site you can not only do a reservation, your seat will be assured if you acquire a ticket. 

1.5    What can I do to travel to more than one destination?

You can purchase a ticket that includes multiple destinations and stops within your journey, but is necessary that you buy separated tickets for every part of it.

1.6    How can I know that my purchase is successful?

Once completed the on line process, the reservation and purchase confirmation will appear on your screen.

When your credit card is validated (24 hours maximum) you will receive information about your reservation code, paid amount and itinerary on your e-mail. Please print this information and have it handy at our airport counters.

1.7    What if I don’t have an e-mail address?

You need an e-mail address to shop on the Internet and receive the confirmation of your purchase.

1.8    Can I buy a ticket that does not departure from the place of purchase?

Internet shopping is global and it can be done from anywhere in the world, nevertheless, you will need to take notice of taxes or rates that will be charged to you according to the country that your flight will departure from. In this case, Bolivian taxes will be charged, as Amaszonas flies within this territory.

The rates on our web site, www.amaszonas.com – ON LINE SHOPPING, do not include Bolivian airport taxes.

1.9    Can I purchase my ticket on your web site with anticipation? How much time of anticipation from flight departure?

You can set purchase your ticket through our web site www.amaszonas.com – ON LINE SHOPPING on the Internet from 1 day minimum to 330 days maximum of anticipation from flight departure. 

1.10    What can I do if I need to bill the ticket to a company?

In this case, the ticket will have to be purchased directly in a nearby Amaszonas office.

1.11    How many passengers can I include in one purchase?

You can request a maximum of 9 spaces in the same purchase. To include more passengers, you will have to make an additional purchase, to call our offices detailed on our web site or write to: info@amaszonas.com.

1.12    How can I know if there are any itinerary changes on my reservations?

Before you travel it is necessary for you to check your e-mail to confirm any itinerary modifications.  However, if there is an Amaszonas office in the city that you are in, changes will be notified by telephone. In case that you are not in the city where your flight will departure from, we will communicate changes by e-mail.

2.1    How can I look at a rate’s regulations?

Before finishing the shopping process, the system will require you to read the Tariff Conditions to your route’s rate. Please read them thoroughly to keep informed and avoid confusions.  

2.2    I bought a ticket on the Internet and have decided not to use it. What can I do to get a refund with my Credit Card?

If your rate allows refunds, repayment will have charges and penalties corresponding purchased ticket and valid currency exchange of the day the refund process is being held on. This being the case, 25% for taxes, credit card commission and administrative costs will be discounted.

Refund could be given to you or put directly into your credit card account, for which a request will be required through the following e-mail address: info@amaszonas.com.

The minimum time for refund process is 10 working days

2.3    I bought a Ticket on the Internet that does not allow refund and I will not use it. What can I do?

If rate regulations for your ticket do not allow refunds, you will have to use your ticket within established period or you will loose its value.

2.4    I need to make a change to a purchased Ticket. What can I do?

To make a change to a ticket, you will need to get in touch with our offices detailed on the web site (Our Offices).

These changes will be charged according to regulations and requested services. 

Online changes are not possible.

2.5    Can I use the value of an unused ticket as credit for an online purchase? 

No, in this case you will have to go directly to an Amaszonas ticket sale office.

  1. Electronic Ticket.

3.1    When I shop on the Internet, what kind of ticket is your company selling me (Z8)?

Amaszonas Web site only sales Electronic Tickets.  

3.2    What is an Electronic Ticket and what are their advantages?

An Electronic Ticket has the same authenticity and characteristics as a physical Ticket, but being virtual it cannot get lost or forgotten.  This Electronic Ticket has a confirmed reservation code that guaranties its effectiveness and the only thing that is needed is just the passenger’s ID.

3.3    What Documents do I need to show at the Airport?

You will need your Identification Document (ID) or valid Passport, depending on the city that your flight will departure from and where are you going to. Additionally and forcefully, you will need to show the Credit Card that you used in your ticket’s on line purchase for its verification.

3.4    What backup Documentation do I receive from Amaszonas for the Electronic Ticket purchase?

Once the shopping process is complete, the system will automatically send you a confirmation e-mail with the itinerary, rate and reservation number.

According to imposed regulations of our country, the emitted Invoice can be collected at the Amaszonas Sales Point starting from the date of the sale. Receipt will carry the date on which the sale was done.

It is the passenger’s responsibility to pick up the receipt within the Law established terms to benefit from the purchase’s Invoice. The terms for residents and/or citizens of the Bolivian Republic is, for foreign persons one month from issuing and for inborn persons 120 days from issuing. Amaszonas does not take responsibility for the loss of your receipt.  

3.5    Can I purchase an Electronic Ticket for someone else?

Yes, but only if at the same time you purchase a ticket for yourself on our Web site, to travel together necessarily at least on the first flight of the itinerary. This standard exists to prevent someone else to use your credit card without your approval or knowledge.

4.1    Are there any special offers on your Internet site?

Yes, you will find both special offers and last minute offers depending on our promotions. Just click on the Offer Banners to check them.

  1. Airport Attention.

5.1.   How many hours before departure do I have to be at the Airport?

You will need to show up 1 hour before scheduled departure.

After this, passengers will loose their reservation rights and spaces will be used to attend waitlist passengers.

5.2.   What happens if I get there late or I miss my flight?

If you are late you may miss your flight. If this happens you will board the next available flight, paying the applied surcharge for flight change and no show.
