Suggestions for your trip
1. Before your trip.-
The passenger must identify him/herself and show personal documents when the airline, immigration, customs service personnel or police request it/them. If the passenger fails to do so, the airline personnel may deny boarding. AMASZONAS S.A. takes as acceptable valid identification documents:
- Bolivian ID Card for passengers over 12 years of age. This document is issued for Bolivians who were born in the Pluri national State of Bolivia.
- Bolivian Unique National Registration (RUN) for passengers over 12 years of age. This document is issued for Bolivians who were born in the Pluri national State of Bolivia.
- Valid Passport for foreign passengers who travelling domestic flights and for Bolivians who travel abroad
- Bolivian ID for Foreign Permanent Residents for foreign passengers with permanent residence in the Pluri national State of Bolivia.
- Bolivian Birth Certificate for passengers under 12 years of age who were born in the Pluri national State of Bolivia.
b) Checked Baggage Allowance
If you are taking baggage with you, bear in mind the following: You have to show up at AMASZONAS S.A. airport counter at least thirty (30) minutes before the flight's departure. The allowed baggage must not exceed 20 Kg. (44 Lb.) for adult and 10Kg. (22 Lb.) for children from 2 to 12 year of age. Transportation of any excess baggage is subject to space availability and payment of the respective tariff.
c) Carry-on Baggage Allowance
Carry-on baggage must not exceed 3 kg (6.6 Lb.) of weight and it must not exceed 30 cm. X 20 cm. X 27 cm. Otherwise, you have to show up at AMASZONAS S.A. airport counter at least thirty (30) minutes before the flight's departure to check your baggage. AMASZONAS S.A. is not liable for carry-on baggage.
Heavy or oversize carry-on baggage should not hinder: safe transportation; other passengers' comfort; and/or obstruct escape routes during an evacuation. In all cases, that kind of baggage should be transported in the baggage compartment or underneath one's seat, as per the crew instructions.
2. At the airport.-
a) Airport Show Up
In order to check in for a flight, the passenger has to show up at AMASZONAS S.A. airport counters with enough time to undergo all the necessary paperwork. This time allowance should not be less than one (1) hour for domestic flights and two (2) hours for international flights. When the passenger fails to show up within this time allowance, the airline may use his/her space without infringing the Transportation Contract. If the passenger arrives at the airport counters after the above detailed time allowance, there are still available seats and the flight had not been closed yet, he/she may be admitted for check-in.
b) Passenger Check-in
The passenger must identify him/herself by showing his/her identification documents as requested by AMASZONAS S.A personnel, immigration authorities, custom services personnel or police officers. If the passenger fails to do so, the airline personnel may deny boarding.
c) Boarding Pass Issuance
Once a passenger shows an air ticket and identification documents at AMASZONAS S.A airport counter, the airline personnel will proceed to check the passenger's reservation for that specific flight and will issue the Boarding Pass or boarding authorization with the following information: Estimated time of departure, boarding area, boarding conditions and whether the flight is under shared code. At the same time, the passenger will be handed out the checked baggage tags.
d) Airport Tax
Bear in mind that the airport tax is not part of the air ticket fare, so once the passenger receives his/her boarding pass at the airline's counter, he/she should proceed to get his/her airport tax receipt. Airport taxes are as follows:

|National||Bs 15.-||2nd CLASS- destination Rurrenabaque - San Borja - Trinidad - Guayaramerín - Riberalta. The payment will be paid for at AASANA collecting booth.|
|International||$us 25.-||For destinations abroad Bolivia. The payment will be paid for at SABSA collecting booth. USD 5.- of this amount goes to Civil Aviation Authority..|
e) Tax on Trips Abroad (ISAE)
This is only for Bolivians travelling abroad and for foreign who have been in the country for more than 3 months. This tax is collected by the Bolivian Revenue Service at a collecting booth located in the airport's main hall. The airline personnel will advise whether or not you need to pay for this tax and where to do it. The cost of such tax is Bs 227.00 and it can be changed as per authorities' regulations.

3. On Board.-
a) Passenger Boarding
The passenger will be admitted for transportation prior presentation of the Boarding Pass and identification documents, unless AMASZONAS S.A. has the necessary legal justification for denying transportation.
b) Passenger's Behavior
It is the passenger's responsibility to behave properly and comply with AMASZONAS S.A. personnel's instructions both on ground, inside the aircraft and in flight.
c) Improper Acts Against Security
The passenger must refrain from committing any act against the flight, his/her own or the other passengers' security; as well as other kind of behavior against discipline or moral; or any other act that may cause nuisance to other passengers. If a passenger fails to comply with all of the above, AMASZONAS S.A. may deny transportation to such passenger without prejudice of filing corresponding legal actions.
The aircraft commander has all the authority to disembark such passenger in the next stop, or deviate the flight to an alternate airport under total responsibility of such passenger; independently of the actions taken by the airport authorities where the passenger is deplaned.
If such occurrence takes place on ground, AMASZONAS S.A. will deny transportation.
a) Problems with baggage
In case you find out some kind of damage in your baggage, before going out of the baggage claim area you must file a complaint with AMASZONAS S.A. personnel for you to have your baggage repaired or replaced, according to the occurrence. In case of delayed baggage and if the passenger has no specific address at destination, he/she has to request AMASZONAS S.A. personnel to provide the corresponding amount set forth in the company's policies for this kind of circumstances. This amount allows the passenger to get basic-need (clothing and hygiene) products until baggage arrival.

c) Reconfirmation of Reservation
The passenger must confirm and reconfirm his/her space with at least twenty-four (24) hours of advance to the day of the flight. If he/she fails to do so, AMASZONAS S.A. may freely use his/her space without infringing the Transportation Contract.
5. Flight Withdrawal.-
If a passenger decides to withdraw from a flight, he/she has to notify AMASZONAS S.A. at least forty-eight (48) hours domestic flights and seventy-two (72) hours in advance for international flights in order to be relieved from extra payments.
b) At counters
If a passenger does not show up AMASZONAS S.A. airport counters, arrives late or voluntarily withdraws from a flight, he/she must pay a Change of Date tariff in order to continue his/her trip.
The above payment will not be charged in case of a flight cancellation or more than 4-hour delay; cancellation of a confirmed reservation and/or missing connecting flights due to the airline's fault; change of itinerary which affects one or more destinations set forth in the Transportation Contract; and/or for health reasons properly certified by a physician.
d) Air ticket Refund
If a passenger needs his/her air ticket to be refunded, such refund is subject to the tariff conditions and to AMASZONAS S.A. internal policies.
